Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy explains what personal information The Planner's Bench collects, how we use it and the choices you have. The Planner's Bench is a trade name of Walker United Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). Questions? Email hello@plannersbench.com.
1. What we collect
When you buy. Checkout is run by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details, and we never see or store your full card number. From your order, we receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your billing country and, where Stripe asks for it, your billing address
- A tax ID, only if you choose to enter one
- What you bought, the price, tax, date and order number
When you download a purchase. We keep a record of your order number, the email on the order and how many times the files were downloaded, so we can deliver your files and prevent misuse.
When you join our email list or download a free resource. Your email address, your name if you give it, and the date and page where you signed up.
When you email us or request a quote. Your email address, company details you choose to give us, and whatever you include in your message.
When you visit our website. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our website host, Cloudflare, keeps standard security logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
We don't ask for, and don't want, any company's or facility's confidential information. Please don't send it to us.
2. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work: one for each pack you buy that remembers your order so you can download your files again from the same browser, and one that keeps course access you bought. Your light or dark theme choice and whether you have seen the site tour are saved in your browser's local storage and stay on your device. Stripe may set cookies on its checkout page for security and fraud prevention.
3. How we use it
- To process your order, deliver your download and give you support
- To send receipts and messages about your purchase
- To send our email newsletter, only if you signed up for it
- To keep records required for tax and accounting
- To protect against fraud and misuse
- To improve our website and products
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Stripe and Link. Stripe runs our checkout. For some digital products, the sale goes through Link, a Stripe service that acts as merchant of record. Stripe and Link handle payment, tax, fraud checks, receipts and payment support, and use your information as described in Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website, stores order and download records, and protects the site.
- Our email service provider, which stores our email list and sends our emails, only if you sign up.
- Our accountant or attorney, when needed to run the business.
- The law. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
If the business is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years
- Download records: as long as you can download your purchase, then deleted or anonymized on request
- Email list: until you unsubscribe, then only what we need to honor the unsubscribe
- Support emails and quote requests: up to two years if no order follows
6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We honor it within 10 business days. You will still get messages about a purchase you made.
- See, correct or delete your information. Email hello@plannersbench.com from the address you used with us. We will reply within 45 days. We may need to keep some records, such as tax records, when the law requires it.
- Payment data held by Stripe or Link. To see or delete payment information Link holds for your purchase, contact Link support at support.link.com, or email us and we will point you the right way.
- Texas, California and other U.S. state residents. Where a state privacy law applies, you can ask to confirm, access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We don't do any of those. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line.
- EU, UK and Swiss visitors. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to direct marketing, and complain to your local data protection authority.
- We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
7. Security
We use reputable service providers, encrypted connections and limited access to customer information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Children
Our products are for working adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
9. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will tell customers by email.
