Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Planner's Bench is a trade name of Walker United Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). You can reach us at hello@plannersbench.com.

These terms are an agreement between you and Walker United Group LLC. By buying from or using plannersbench.com, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't buy or use our products.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover plannersbench.com and everything we offer there: template packs and other digital downloads, courses, team seats and onboarding services (together, our "products").

3. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you buy for a company, you confirm you have authority to do so, and "you" includes that company. Team seats and onboarding services are sold by quote, and the quote or order form also applies.

4. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change before you buy. The price you agree to at checkout is the price you pay. Sales tax, VAT or GST may be added at checkout based on your location.

Checkout and payment are handled by Stripe on its secure hosted page. For some of our digital products, the sale goes through Link, a Stripe service that acts as the merchant of record for the payment. When that applies, Link collects the payment and any tax, sends your receipt by email, and your card statement shows LINK.COM followed by our name. You can contact Link support about the payment itself, and you can always contact us about the product.

We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

If we find a pricing error after you order, we will contact you and let you choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery of digital downloads

Our template packs are digital files. Nothing is shipped.

After your payment goes through, you return to our site, where we confirm the payment with Stripe and give you a secure download link.
Each download link works for 15 minutes. You can reopen your order page in the same browser to get a fresh link, up to 10 downloads per order.
Download your files promptly and keep your own copy.
If you have any trouble, or need the files on another computer, email us with your receipt and we will send them.

6. Your license to use the templates

We own the templates, guides and other content in our products, or we have permission to use them. When you buy a product, we give you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to:

Copy, edit and use the templates for your own work, including internal use at the company or site where you work.
Keep your edited copies if you change jobs, as long as they don't contain anyone else's confidential information.

You may not:

Sell, resell, sublicense or give away the templates or guides, edited or not.
Post them publicly, upload them to a template marketplace, or share them in a shared drive or group where people who haven't bought them can get them.
Remove our copyright, trademark or disclaimer notices.

Each purchase is for one person. If your team wants to use our templates or courses, request a team quote.

7. Courses and certificates

Course access is personal to the learner who bought it, unless you bought team seats. Please don't share logins or course content.

A certificate of completion confirms that you finished a course from The Planner's Bench. It is not a professional license, accreditation, or SAP certification, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAP SE or any other company.

8. Educational content only

Our products are general educational material about maintenance planning, scheduling and preventive maintenance for Mechanical and Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) work, including how those tasks can be handled in SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM).

They are not engineering, safety, legal or compliance advice, and they are not a procedure for any facility.
Your site's procedures, permits, isolation and lockout rules, management of change (MOC) process and the direction of authorized site personnel always come first.
SAP behavior differs by release and configuration. Field names, transactions and examples in our products may not match your system. Adapt everything to your site's configuration and procedures.
Example data and equipment tags in our products are fictional.

9. Please don't send us confidential information

Please don't send us any company's or facility's confidential information, such as internal procedures, task lists, drawings, equipment tags, system screenshots or site data. We don't want it, we won't use it, and we may delete it.

10. Trademarks and no affiliation

SAP, SAP PM, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and Fiori are trademarks or registered trademarks of SAP SE in Germany and other countries. Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Google Sheets is a trademark of Google LLC. We use these names only to describe the software our products work with.

The Planner's Bench is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAP SE or any other company.

11. Refunds

Once you have downloaded a product, that sale is final and we do not offer a refund, except when a file is broken or corrupted. In that case we will replace the file or refund you. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, OUR PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT OUR PRODUCTS ARE ERROR FREE, COMPLETE OR RIGHT FOR YOUR SITE OR SYSTEM. SOME PLACES DON'T ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THEM MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Limit of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WALKER UNITED GROUP LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST PRODUCTION, DOWNTIME, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE OR INJURY ARISING FROM WORK DONE BY YOU OR OTHERS. OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT A PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS YOU HAVE UNDER LAW THAT CAN'T BE LIMITED BY CONTRACT.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law. You and we agree that any dispute will be heard only in the state and federal courts located in Jefferson County, Texas, and you consent to that venue. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to fix the problem first. Nothing in this section limits rights that the law where you live gives you as a consumer.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date. Changes apply to purchases made after the new date.

16. General

These terms, with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about our products. If any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
