P&ID and symbol reference
Teaching drawings for Gulf Coast Example Plant area GC-100. Use these when a lesson mentions a loop, a valve, a motor circuit or a relief device. All tags are fictional.
What is here
Planners read P&IDs and one line diagrams every week. A clear symbol set helps you scope a job, pick the right measuring points and write a task list that matches the field. This library pairs each drawing with the SAP PM objects you would normally touch.
- P&ID basics: how to read a sheet, what a bubble means, signal line types.
- Discipline legends for Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical.
- Example loops with tag lists, how they work and PM planning notes.
- A sample simplified P&ID of a feed drum, pump and exchanger.
